Purpose

The Journal of Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and Jurisprudence (JCDFJ) is dedicated to maintaining an internationally diverse Editorial Board composed of leading scholars, researchers, legal experts, and practitioners in cybersecurity, digital forensics, cyber law, information security, privacy, digital governance, and related disciplines. Editorial appointments are made on the basis of academic distinction, professional expertise, editorial experience, ethical conduct, and a demonstrated commitment to advancing rigorous interdisciplinary research. The Editorial Board plays a central role in safeguarding the quality, integrity, and reputation of the Journal while supporting its long-term academic development.

Editorial Responsibilities

Editor-in-Chief

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall academic leadership and strategic direction of the Journal. The role includes establishing editorial priorities, overseeing the peer-review and publication process, making final decisions on submitted manuscripts, ensuring compliance with publication ethics and research integrity standards, and maintaining editorial independence. The Editor-in-Chief also leads initiatives to strengthen the Journal's international profile, expand its scholarly impact, and foster collaboration across the fields of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and jurisprudence.

Deputy Editor

The Deputy Editor supports the Editor-in-Chief in managing the Journal's editorial operations and ensuring the efficient handling of manuscripts. The Deputy Editor coordinates editorial workflows, assists in assigning submissions, monitors the progress of peer review, advises on editorial decisions, and helps resolve procedural or ethical issues that arise during manuscript evaluation. The Deputy Editor also contributes to strategic planning, editorial quality assurance, and the continuous improvement of the Journal's publishing standards.

Associate Editors

Associate Editors manage manuscripts within their areas of specialization and oversee the peer-review process from initial assessment to editorial recommendation. They identify appropriate reviewers, evaluate reviewer reports, recommend editorial decisions, and ensure that each submission is assessed fairly, objectively, and in accordance with the Journal's policies. Associate Editors also advise on emerging research topics, support special thematic collections where appropriate, and contribute to maintaining the scientific quality and relevance of the Journal.

Editorial Board Members

Editorial Board Members serve as subject-matter experts and ambassadors for the Journal.
